PLAY CONDITION
Easily accessible dents are removed. The instrument is disassembled and cleaned
internally and externally using a non-harmful but effective solution followed by
thorough brushing, inside and out. All waterkey corks and Rotor strings are replaced.
The instrument is lubricated and reassembled - tuning and hand slides fit and aligned
as necessary. Mouthpiece is cleaned and polished. Instrument is play tested and
wiped off. Excessive dents or stuck slides are additional. Internal cleans do not
include polishing of silver plating or raw brass.
Typical turn around time for play conditions is 2 to 4 days plus approval time if
necessary.
Play condition does not include the removal of extreme and/or large dents. The
correction of stuck slides is not included in play conditioning and are an additional
service.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Totally frozen tuning slides which require oil-soaking and heat or unsoldering; extra
dent work; excessively bowed or damaged tuning slides; soldering broken braces;
replacing or soldering patches onto leaking sections; realignment of bent tubing;
replacement of worn, broken, missing or incorrect parts; machining of custom parts;
valve and valve casing repair and lapping; lapping of tuning slides and sleeves to
remove any burrs to enable smooth action; hand polishing of sliver instruments and
case repair.
